No the thread wasn't boycotting the product, but a specific retailer of it. I think that thread got carried away and ended up being closed.

maybe it was a different company, but i thought it was them, the thread was about a shady deal, bad customer service etc.

Don't worry about it. There was a specific purveyor of BC products that has a dispute with a longtime member here, sounds ultimately like some piss-poor communication on both sides.

I don't know why people are tiptoeing around the name of the company that pissed off our member, but this is the company I dealt with and they were excellent. BTW, nothing wrong with Bayou Classic, their products are great.
