Default Anyone ever ship full cornies?

I am going out to California for my brother's birthday in September and I was thinking of brewing up batch for the festivities and send it out there. I have sent a few bottles of beer by FedEx/UPS in the past, but never a full corny. Anyone ever do this and did you have issues? How about taking it on a flight with you and checking it? I know it would incur a fee as it would be over 50 pounds, but has anyone tried this (and it is cool with all of the TSA regulations we now have)?

I know that olllllo is looking into shipping a full corny to NHC, maybe he'll chime in on what he's found so far.
