Default Air lock

I have changed airlocks and it seems that my EURO BOCk is sucking water from the air lock... I have it 55* but I do not have temp controller so it may get lower, I try to monitor it. The yeast is San Fransisco Lager from White Labs, it was past the best before date by 20 days. I am goning to pitch a starter tommorrow.

Is this weird?

It happens as the wort cools. That causes some pressure changes, and then the airlock fluid can get sucked in.

double bubble airlocks will let air in without sucking the water in.
