Did anyone check out the cost of the conference hotel? Just a little excessive.

I'm wondering how the conference will be enhanced by ALL the costs associated by staying there. Check the parking costs.

Maybe we need a conference for typical homebrewers (those w/o expense accounts).

What say you?

I say I was getting ready to get a hotel and realized it is the same day that I am retiring from the service. So I wont be making it. Which is too bad since it is only about 2 hours from me.

Can't go this year but honestly I did not think the cost per night was out of line for a big city's rates. Try and get a room in Chicago for $137.00 per night, not a chance and parking will cost you your left nut! Not only that but we also pay over 10% in taxes in the city.

Find some friends to go and split the costs!
