Hi everyone. New here, so I hope I post this in the correct spot. I recently started bottle digging our family farm and let me just say, there were alot of beers consumed at this farm. I discovered all of these old dumps (some go back to the 1800's) but have only dug a few "recent" ones.
I have between 200-400 of the "stubby/shorty" bottles lying on the side of the one well we started digging. We're 2-3' down and that's all we've found so far. They were Bosch beer bottles from Houghton, Michigan. They are all in perfect shape. No cap and no label, in need of a really good washing, but otherwise in great shape. my question is this: is there a market for these or am I better off just finding a recycling center? We'll probably end up with well over 1000 of these and the goal originally was to get rid of the "trash" etc...btw..bottle digging makes one obsessive. thanks for reading and any assistance given!!!!
