Pros: Easy to clean. Hard to break. Built in tap. An expanding Krausen Kollar. Thermometer sticker.
Cons: none
Recommended? Yes

Comments: This product seems like a good substitute for the traditional glass carboy. I got mine as a starter kit, complete with Coopers Lager, bottles, hydrometer, etc.

Not sure if I could say this fermenter is better than a carboy, but I do enjoy having the tap so I don't have to use a siphon for bottling.

Pros: Easy to use. Krausen Collar is excellent for removing early build-up from fermentation. Bottle directly from the fermenter. Comes with 30 bottles, complete kit for a decent lager, hydrometer, and more.
Cons: Cannot buy the fermenter or parts for it separately.
Recommended? Yes

Comments: This is a great fermenter and bottling bucket. It has a removable collar that allows you to remove fermentation build-up after the major fermentation ends. Comes with clips to hold down the lid for heavy fermentation. Is clear so you can watch the fermentation pretty easily.

Pros: stout, tight fitting screw on lid with clear top. Bottling wand fits in spout on spigot. Can make up to 6.5G of bier in this FV.
Cons: Sealing surface on top of fermenter lid threads good be truer, trimmed of molding flash. Easy to remedy with a sharp knife, though.
Recommended? Yes

Comments: This is the Cooper's "micro brew kit",being replaced this month by the new "DIY kit" with upgraded fermenter. I love this one because the lid screws down good & tight,& has never blown off or broken. This thing can take some serious krausen! I also find it convenient that the bottling wand fits tightly into the spout on the spigot. The kit also comes with everything you need to make 23L (6.072 gallons) of beer. You get the long spoon, beer kit,30 25.16oz PET bottles/screw on lids,& all the other little things you need to brew the kit. You just need to get some sanitizer,I recommend Star-San.

Coopers 25 liter plastic fermenter

Comments: This fermentor is amazing! Definately better than the ones you buy in the homebrew shops that are just a plastic paint bucket with some holes drilled into them. Too bad you cant buy them seperately, you have to actually buy the entire cooper's kit to get one, but its worth it...and I can always use bottles.

Comments: Great fermenting vessel. Easy to screw-on gasketed lid with grommeted hole for airlock. Plenty of room for fermenting even the most violent heavy beers. Nice spigot with attachable bottling hose.

Comments: Great starter kit fermenter. Came with 30 PET bottles, plastic spoon, fermentation lock, "little bottler", and an extract kit for Cooper's Australian Lager. Spout makes for very easy bottling.

Comments: Don't scratch the inside, but with the wide top it's so easy and the spigot makes raking a breeze. Wish I could order more without buying the entire kit.
