This is the info straight from the website-
This is the ultimate way to ferment your wort, not to mention you will never have to buy yeast again. Simply drop out 8-10 ounces of yeast from bottom dump valve every day after the onset of fermentation. ( initial bubbling in airlock ) Do this for the first 5 days and always save the second yeast dump in a clean mason jar with a #10 stopper and airlock. ( see pic #4 ) Keep in fridge untill next brewing day. Conical has welded handles for easy and safe maneuverability. Also included is a stainless brewers temp gauge, ( weldless of course ) for easy cleaning and sanitizing which is optional, frankly I never remove mine. Also, both valves are stainless. Similar vessels are sold for $500 to $600 in brew shops and catalogs so at this amazing price I don't expect them lasting too long. If you have ever considered moving up to a conical, now is the time. Lets face it, there are great values now in our markets and this is the right time for fantastic deals including brewing equiptment. HomeBrewers have waited years to find value in this market and now that time has come.

Price: $252.00 Pros: Great workmanship
Cheap price compared to others
Extremely good communication by Dave Cons: None that I can see so far Recommended? No
Comments: Dave answered all my questions, worked with me on free shipping and threw in a free thermometer. Some people may be leery of sending a check to pay (no PayPal or credit card options to keep cost down for distributor) but it is still all through the eBay umbrella and he has outstanding reviews and testimonials, worry not.
Well worth it and highly recommended

Price: $150.00 Pros: Easy to dumb Crap out, 1/2" valves make for quick kegging, easy to clean and santize. Cons: None Recommended? Yes
Comments: $299 on ebay, I paid $150 on craigslist
I love this my conical, I am currently looking for another one. Its cleans great with Starsan, its not to heavy to move around, seals good, makes filling the keg easy and quick. I dont have to rack to secondary, all I do now is take off the air lock, put a little bowl under the bottom value and open it slowly until mostly liquid comes on, then close the valvue and replace the air lock. Now i am into my secondary fermentation.

Price: $240.00 Pros: Stainless steel with a thermometer for a good price. Cons: None Recommended? Yes
Comments: Bought in Sep. of 2009 from Homebrewhousediscount on ebay. Has worked well for over 15 batches. Dave sent me extra lid gaskets for no charge. It is sturdy and dependable, the ball valves and the overall fit and finish are good.
Note this was before the tri-clamp craze and the fittings are threaded. Not really that hard to disassemble and clean. Harvesting yeast from the bottom port or repitching on a yeast cake have worked really well.
Price did not include shipping, that was another $70.
Note to Dobo, you dropped your review under the wrong vendor. Homebrewhousediscount on ebay is different than Stout Tanks and Kettles.

Price: $400.00 Pros: SS Conical with tri-clamp sanitary fittings, thermowell and butterfly valves (1.5" dump, 1" racking) Cons: none (you might have to wait a bit to get one, I lucked out) Recommended? Yes
Comments: Got my conical from Stout Tanks and Kettles ( http://conical-fermenter.com), and I am very pleased! John was great to work with, and I would recommend his conicals even if it means waiting for one (yes, they are made in China, so the time to fill orders can be long if he doesn't have in stock what you want, but the quality of the materials and welds are top notch). What you get for the price is unmatched by any other product, and what are typically expensive upgrades on others, come standard. The upgrade to butterfly valves is well worth it, and shipping is very reasonable given the size and weight of the item (I think it cost a little under $30 to have mine delivered).

Price: $240.00 Pros: Easy to extract yeast cake without transferring to a secondary
Easy to transfer to bottle or keg since it doesn't need to be transferred to bottling bucket
Looks Impressive
Don't have to worry about light skunking your beer Cons: Temperature control is not as easy as with a carboy since you can't easily stick it in a tub of water
A little pricey. It was nice to get this as a gift, but if I was spending the money, this is not the direction I would have went Recommended? Yes
Comments: Not a whole lot to say that isn't listed above. In summary, I am very happy with this product, but for the price, there are a lot of other things I would upgrade before moving to this.

Price: $255.00 Pros: Quality workmanship
Great Features
Value priced Cons: Could use a 3/4" bottom drop-out valve Recommended? Yes
Comments: I bought mine from Dave on Ebay and this conical is excellent. Brand new to brewing and now have six batches that have been very good if I say so myself. Seems extravegant for an extract brewer but has performed flawlessly and looks great in my club room. My brew friends are envious and they will buying one too ban:
Dave is very very helpful to this noob and I would like to go bigger or get another one.
Price included shipping

Price: $239.00 Pros: Excellent value Cons: Weldless thermometer touchy to get leak free. Recommended? Yes
Comments: I bought one of these form Dave on eBay and I'm really happy with it. Dave is a fantastic person to do business with and works expeditiously to fix any problems. This conical is well made and very easy to clean. It's the centerpiece of my brewery and the envy of my brewing friends. I might even buy another one, maybe two.
