Default Yeast Question

I made a starter on Tuesday because I thought my grains and extract would be here yesterday and I would be brewing today at the latest. However, the shipment went out late and I wont have my stuff until tomorrow. The starter is done fermenting the DME that was in it, and what I would like to do now is split the yeast and repitch half of it in another starter for tomorrow, will this work?
