Default Who loses a keg o-ring to their lager?

Checking gravity today I propped off the keg lid, lifted it out and wondered "where the heck is the o-ring?" Still stuck to the inside of the actually keg, just not long enough for me to grab it before it fell into the wort.

So typical.

Nothing some keg lube won't cure.

Yeah, keg lube helps

I dropped the whole like once.
Thankfully I had a spare, beer ended up fine dry hopped with a corney lid

Did you bother taking it out? I had a spare too and the o-ring is still in the lager.

DOH!

Hasn't happened to me yet. Thanks! Now I know to always check for the o-ring!

I dropped one a couple weeks back into my Kolsch. Still tastes fine! I figure it can stay there until the keg is done. I bought plenty extra.
