For what it's worth, I purchased a trub filter from Derrin at www.brewershardware.com and it works great. Filters most of trub/hot break out. I dont even bother with whirlpooling anymore.
That's a beautiful piece of hardware, but for $130, I'll stick with my $5 paint stirrer.
