Good question, and I'll be interestd to hear the answers too. I ramped mine down in primary after diacetyl. Figured maybe I would transfer less yeast to the keg where I'm currently lagering at 35.
Thinking about it now, I suppose it's easier for the beer to pick up oxygen during transfer when it's cold? I did put a CO2 blanket in the keg prior to racking, so maybe that minizmied it some.
