Default Sodastream for carbing

I used mine and it worked great but it does take some time. I would say about 5-10min for 1L so it’s not too practical for a large batch.

The challenging part is after you carbonate it, you slowly have to release the C02 so it doesn’t explode like a pop bottle after you shake it up.

Also, you can kinda control the amount of carbonation in the bottle but if you do it like you would for a soda, it comes out PRETTY damn carbonated.

Thought I would give a report

I have a sodastream and wondered if it would work. How did you do it, just give it a short press every minute or two?

Yes sir, and drop it down about another .5in from the "fill line".

You will know when to stop when you see the head rise up close to the neck.

It appears (maybe not) that it doesn't hold a carb for very long so make sure you cap it pretty quickly.

Let me know if you try it also! It made a mean apple wine!
