Default Small Beers

I would like to do some small beers or what other brewers call session beers and wanted to know if I should use rice hulls and how much if so? My concern is my MLT is a converted keg and I don't know if I would have an adequate filter bed with out the hulls. Oh and recipes for session beers would be appreciated too.Thanx in advance.

I just tapped a cream ale for a barbeque at the start of college football season and it was a big hit. I made it for the BMC drinkers, but I even liked it, and I thought it would suck:
