I have a RIS or an attempt at one going now, og 1.074 but thats a bit week for me. My question: would u recomend addding a pound of boild coold dme to fferment once it has slowed? 5 g batch.
I did so and it went very well. 1# lgt dme and 3/4 # corn sugar slurry added to 5 gal when initial furious ferment has begun to calm down, nearly all fermented out. Alcohol and flavor addition. No sweetness added.
