Well so do I still take the final gravity after the secondary, before I bottle? Or do I take it before I add anything to the secondary?

You take your readings BEFORE secondary after primary fermentation has finished. I add a small amount 1tlbs of sugar to fire up the yeast just enough to make sure the yeast builds a little more CO2 to push any air out may not be needed but makes me feel better. Then I look to hold the F.G. For 3days then into the keg

Won't adding that sugar after taking the FG change the ABV or is it a negligible change? I'm just worried that by adding things in the secondary that I won't have an accurate calculation.
