Default Rice Hulls

How much of a bed do you use when making a wheat beer?

A bed? I'm not sure what you're asking. You only need to have the grain bed deep enough to "filter" the wort as it runs out. I don't use rice hulls, and I've never had a stuck sparge, but I've never used more than 50% wheat either. If you're using rice hulls, a half-pound to one pound will be enough to help with the sparging.

I use a "good scoop", I don't know what it translates to in volume or weight, I just know the amount is right when I see it.

Maybe my manifold didnt work that great then. Maybe the Bazooka works better with wheat beers?

I have a false bottom, so I'm not sure. What happened? Did you get a stuck mash or sparge?

I used rice hulls for the first time on my last brew, which was about 60% wheat. I used a generous handful and just mixed it in with the grist. I use a S/S braid manifold and had a fine lauter.
