Default reusing 3068 yeast cake for Apfelwein?

So My Apfelwein with 2 pounds of corn sugar is about ready to bottle... I am expecting a FG of 0.998 and my OG was 1.070 so the alc by Vol is going to be about 9.6% I was thinking of just pouring another 5 gallons of apple juice on the yeast cake to get the same taste with a lower alc content.. Is it ok just to reuse the cake like that for apfelwein. I know people have done this with beer but what about apfelwein?

Thanks..

yes, people also pour apple juice onto their cakes for more apfelwein. I haven't done it with the yeast that you used, but have done it with the original Montrachet.
