Default Porter Problems?

Well I thought I would seek out for some input or comments. I just racked my Porter into the secondary after 7 days in the primary. I noticed there was still about an inch of krausen on top and did not think anything of it. After I had it racked and the airlock installed I took my SG and temp of the sample I had taken. At 62 deg the SG was 1.035! This has never happened before. OG was 1.056 at 72 deg. After I though about it I probably should have left it in the primary for another week and taken another SG reading and waited unil the krausen mellowed a bit. My fermentation temp may have been a little low causing a stuck ferment. However, after about 2 hours in the 5 gallon carboy secondary the airlock is burping about 2-3 times a minute. Hopefully my beer is not screwed. Any comments, suggestions, or critisism?

Not screwed.

I'd ocnsider leaving it be or leave it until fermentation's finished and rack a second time.

You would do that to get it off the second trub that may form. I personally don't think that's necessary, as the amount of trub will be much less than the original. You should be okay to bottle out of the secondary, but give it three weeks or so, and of course, check the gravity before you bottle.

What yeast did you use? Did you use a starter? Did you aerate? Fermentation temp?

Wyeast European Ale, No starter but the pouch was swelled pretty good, I oxygenated for almost 2 minutes, Temp has been pretty stable at 65 deg F.

Since I racked it to the secondary 2 days ago it has been fermenting pretty good. There is still a bit of action from the airlock and a new layer of krausen has formed. Hopefully all is well. I will take another SG reading after 2 weeks in the secondary and make a decision from there.

I think you're fine. I think the European ale yeast just takes a while to ferment out. I'd give it another week or so.
