Default New Rule to live buy

OK, so you've all heard the saying don't cry over spilt milk, but spilt beer is a whole new level.
Lesson learned, don't do anything else while racking beer into your bottling bucket. Oh and more importantly, double check that your valve is closed on your bottling bucket. Ugg. Perfectly good beer on the basement floor. I think actually cried a little. Sniff...

I've spilled exactly 7 gallons of beer before so I know how you feel. And I'm talking about beer in the kegs, ready to drink... sob. sob.

Luckily I only lost some star san solution when I left my spigot open. I used a silver sharpie to color the words open and closed of my spigot. It takes a steady hand but it looks pretty good and is much more visable.
