What's wrong with the one you have listed?

I just bought one of these for measuring out very small hop additions for 1-gallon batches of beer:

http://www.amazon.com/American-Weigh...1536138&sr=8-2

It just arrived yesterday, and I don't know if you can get it overnight or not...

It is a month old and worked intermittently since day one. It has just given up the ghost for good as I was weighing everything for tomorrows brewday. I should have just returned it immediately. Live and learn.

I got my digital scale for 20 bucks 3 years ago at target in the kitchen section. And I haven't had any problems with it at all.

The $20 scale i bought at Walmart works really well for me. I use it regularly for hops and grains on my 5-gallon batches.

I have one of these:
Escali Primo Digital Scale

I have been using it to measure both my hops and grains for months with no trouble. I love the thing.

+1
I added this to my order at http://www.austinhomebrew.com/produc...ducts_id=10423 about 6 months ago and only wish I had bought it sooner. I use it for hops and priming sugar, don't know how I brewed without it.

Odd, I've had the same Escali model for like 3+ years and it's worked great. It's even on the original set of batteries!

does 11# or measures in grams/ounces too.

Get the coupon and they are like $16....

Somebody on ebay sells postage scales for really cheap. Thats what I have, the only problem is the scale moves in 5g increments. Not something I worry about.
