Default Measuring Oats by volume

I don't have a scale, but need to measure out 3/4 lb of Oats (instant variety). Does anyone have a ball park idea of how many Cup(s) that might be?

thanks

if you bought them from a grocery store the original package should have the weight on it. just use a measuring cup to take the volume of the original amount and use a proportion to figure out what volume of the original you need. should be a good guestimate.
