My greatest improvement to chilling time came when I used a pump to slowly whirlpool instead of using a spoon. Went from 25 minutes to 15 or less.
Agree. Whirlpooling is the key to faster chill times and negates any fancy bending job. Now if you're not whirpooling or constantly stirring, if your wort is stagnant, than the cloverleaf will be effective.
