Default I froze my yeast

Here in Michigan its been about 10-20F outside. I have a fridge outside in my garage and when I pulled the yeast out I found the White labs vial had froze. I this yeast no good any more? I was going to make a starter from it.

You most likely killed it- but I would go ahead and try it. Thaw it out and make a starter. Even if just a few survive, they'll propagate. Good luck!

Yeah you have nothing to lose at this point.

I freeze my yeast all the time but I do it with
glycerin to keep the cell walls from bursting.

Thaw it VERY slowly, and the yeast will probably be all right, particularly if it didn't get very cold for very long. Like YC said, do a small starter and see. If it doesn't take off right away, you know not to use it.
