Default Hybrid IPA

Brewing an IPA with lager yeast and lagering.
Is it a specific style and are there any advantages?

It's getting colder here no and I can keep the temp pretty much below 50ºF after fermenting at around 65°F

Sounds like an interesting experiment Orfy, I'm interested to hear how it turns out.

Just curious Orfy. What kind of lager yeast? Is it dry or liquid? What's your grain bill?

I don't see anything like this in either the BA style guide or the BJCP guide. That's quite a pile of hops.

I don't brew to guidelines. No guidelines that I know of for UK brewing.

I've brewed it using Ale yeast and normal fermenting temps.
The IBUs are nice, not over the top and not mouth puckering it taste good straight from the fermenter, I think I'll keg it next week (3 weeks) and probably tap within a couple of weeks. With it being a lower ABV I can drink it whilst the hop aroma is still there with out needing to age it for months.

I'm after an IPA I can drink, savour and not get wasted on due to high ABV.

I'm expecting this to be one I can keep to myself

As for in style, It's off the page......
