Default how much oat hulls to use?

Hey guys!

Brewing up a Weissbier on Saturday and I haven't brewed one in maybe ten years. So, don't remember how much oat hulls I need to put in.

Recipe is 60/40 wheat to barley, 3 kg(6.6 lbs) wheat and 2 kg(4.4 lbs) of barley in a 21 liter (5.55 gallon) batch.

No, I am not conditioning my malt and no I don't want to(and yes I know what it is and how to do it and yes I have done it before).

Thanks for any insights.

Never heard of using oat hulls. You mean rice hulls by any chance to prevent a stuck mash because of the wheat? If so, I use 1 pound/5 pounds of wheat. For you, 1 lb is probably close enough.

I suppose you could use oat hulls for this as well?

Yeah, oat hulls and rice hulls serve the same purpose. Thanks.
