Freeze your hops and they will be good for 6-12 months.

Understand hot. I got my MBA at UofA and spent four years in Las Vegas.

Are you buying yeast locally? Even with chill packs, some people have been reporting problems with dead yeast this year. Maybe lay in a stock of dried yeast or learn to wash & save it.

How do Belgian lambic breweries age their hops for 3 years? Do they dry them out or something?
