Default How lazy are you?

I couldn't be arsed cleaning wine bottles today so I went and bought 30 new ones. They cost me more than the wine that went in them.

Don't tell SWMBO.....

If they're yours...serves you right.

If they're someone elses, stop giving them beer until they
return your bottles clean.

If they are new to you, I would be hard pressed to use them.

Time = $

If you can save some time by spending a few $ it's often a good trade.

You can always get more $ you can't get the time back.

Ahh, but remember it was most likely the time (your's or someone else's) that got you the money in the first place .

I refuse to pay for new bottles. I'd rather have the beverage that goes in them.

For me, ciggy butts = dealbreaker. The ones I get from the bar are almost always fine, but the handful I've found butts in went right to the trash. It's mostly in my head, I know, but they've been defiled and cannot be filled with my delicious beverages.

Agreed.

Note however, I said often a good trade not always.

Example: on vacation I'll trade money for time. While both are limited, time is more limited in that instance.
Another is taking the bus, the bus saves money but takes a great deal more time.

Every instance need proper evaluation. In this case time seems more important to Orfy than money. But he also seemed to be conflicted about what he had done.
So I was merely trying to help him realize the true nature of the situation.

People don't often realize that they are trading their life (time) for money. What is more important in the end? All that money won't buy you more time.
