Default hop tea???

Here is a link to my original post asking my question about hop tea. www.homebrewtalk.com/f12/hop-tea-266984/

Basically I'm asking what is the preferred method of making hop tea to really get a good idea of what flavors and aromatics hop varieties produce at different boiling intervals.

TIA
Ken

At a homebrew club meeting I served hop tea to give peole the idea of what each hop tasted like. All I did was put the whole hops in a coffe filter and run it through the coffee maker. Ended up looking like green tea and tasting very bitter. When mixed with sweet tea it tasted just like fresh wort, it was a cool experiment
