Default Haha...the CO2 is having a hard time evacuating my Barleywine...

Well, it seemed like my latest Burninator Barleywine just wasn't carbing very well. Actually...upon further inspection, it's just so effing viscous and thick, the bubbles just...stay suspended. It's wild!

Anyway, I'm down at the in-laws new house on the NC coast now...chillin...had a big glass of my Pale Ale, and then this glass of barleywine...and it is kicking my poor ass. Talk about a buzz...I do believe that stuff is 12% or so, with enough residual sugar to, well, keep the CO2 in suspension. Giggity giggity.

I need a good barleywine recipe, what'd you use? That is pretty wild the bubbles would just get stuck like that.
