Fruit beer question; Has anyone tried...
 

adding their fruit to the mash? If so, what were the results as far as color and flavor. Did you lose it all or was it successful?

Many pumpkin brewers add it to the mash. I add chocolate to my mash tun when making chocolate beers.

I'm speaking more specifically about using Strawberries. Not looking for an over-powering flavor, but would like some as well as a pinkish hue.
