Default Dry hopping a wheat ale

I brewed a very simple wheat ale and added 1 oz of orange zest to the boil. I have some citra hops available and I was wondering if I should throw some in there to dry hop. Since its a wheat I'm not sure if this is wise. Anyone have experience dry hopping a wheat? Thanks

I've tasted a dry hopped wheat from a local brewery and it was delicious. I say go for it.

Never done it myself, but I think citra, centennial, or Amarillo would be real nice in a wheat. Give it a shot!

I make a Citra wheat from time to time. It's really good. Use an American wheat yeast, low bittering and dry hop with Citra. An ounce is good for me.

I've also done it with galaxy. Both are great dry hop varieties.

I've just tapped an American Wheat IPA (3 gal, keg conditioned) that I dry hopped /
W/ 2 oz of Mosaic since no Galaxy was available.
It's awesome!!!

I have an American Wheat on tap that is fantastic! The recipe is from the Northern Brewer AG kit, although i ordered everything separately.

At the end I added a step. I bought 1 oz of Centennial whole leaf hops and dry hopped with it for 5 days. It added a perfect aroma to this great summer beer. Couldn't be happier and I will make this a few more times this summer.

I don't know why, but whole leaf hops just works better for me when dry hopping.
