Default Cool Boil

I just started my boil... outside.. it's -19F.. and dark... I kept the propane in the house for the day, so it would work decently. Good thing I mashed inside, because it would probably be tough to keep the temperature of the tun steady outside... well, it was only about -10 when I was mashing.

It's an oktoberfest..50% vienna, 41% be;s malz pilsner, 9% caramunich. Bittered with Northern Brewer, lightly flavored with Mt Hood.

I mash inside on very cold days too, for the same reason. Good deal remembering to bring the tank inside, but that could be dangerous.
