Default Cleaning Fresh Fruit

How do you clean fresh fruit?
I have a recipe that calls for orange zest. It is added at the end of the boil and so maybe I should not worry about it. But I know fresh fruit has allot of pesticides, and I don't want that in the beer!
So what do I use to remove pesticide?

Thanks

I use warm water and a green scrubby brush. Just give it a real good scrubbing. Put the orange in the fridge before you zest it... it helps firm up the fruit.

water and a vegetable cleaning brush is all I use on something like an orange before I zest it.
