Default Clean up yeast

When a beer does not attenuate enough , what type of yeast would one add to finish the job? I have an IPA that didn't quite get there.

In order to finish a stuck fermentation, Jamil recommends to make a small starter and pitch it while it is still fermenting. I'd say nottingham is a good choice.
