Default brewing in the rain

My last couple of brewdays have been rained out and just as I was about to get the HLT out today it started raining. I guess Im going to set up this screen room thing I have but what a pain in the a**. anyone else brewing in the rain?

Brewing in the rain is always better than not brewing at all! I once brewed outdoors while it poured on us. We named that batch "Stormy Brew". It turned out great.

If anything you may get a little local flavor in your brew, nothing noticeable though.

A beach umbrella can actually offer a pretty good refuge with little fuss.

While I'm typing this is out on the back porch. Storm just blew through. A couple of zip ties and a umbrella. (Hope it doesn't catch on fire!)

I put an ugly hat on my wind-screen. Doesn't help much for the brewer though, no decoctions on rainy days for me!
