Default Bitter Orange Peel Substitute

I'm making a 10 gallon batch of Orange coriander pale ale tomorrow. I forgot to buy bitter orange peel. Any suggestions on substitutes that I should be able to buy in town (I don't have a Homebrew store around). The zest of a regular orange? The recipe calls for 4.00 oz of bitter orange peel so should I use the same amount of the substitute? Thanks for the help!

Yeah, just use a potato peeler on about 6 oranges.

I love the fresh orange zest. The more of the white stuff under the zest that you use, the more of the bitterness you will get...

I found out yesterday that a good sized navel orange has about 1oz of sweet peel. I bought six, but only used three because I wanted 3oz. I avoided the white part.
