What logan said.

I just take it off the stove, let it sit for a couple minutes and then throw that mofo in the bottling bucket and rack on top of it.... it's only 1 cup of hot solution.

Just consider the first few hundred yeast who die your beers forlon hope! The other yeast will tale tells and sing songs to their bravery.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but near boiling liquid is less dense than room temperature liquid. Wouldn't the hot priming solution make it to the top of the beer in a bottling bucket (over-carbing the last bottles filled) or is the temp transfer so rapid during the mixing that the effect is negated?
