Default Dallas water report issue

I just moved to Texas, so I need to find out what the water is in my area (Addison, north end of Dallas). I remember what a pain it was to get my water report in Kansas, and now I'm having even more trouble trying to get a report here. I found this after about 40 minutes of googling http://www.addisontx.gov/REPOSITORY/...n_WebReady.pdf, but that doesn't help since it didn't mention calcium, magnesium, bicarbonate, sodium, chloride, or sulfate levels. Does anyone know more or less what levels are in the North Dallas area?

This is for Richardson, but it should be in the ballpark for Addison. It’s a different system, but it’s all surface water.

A filter is a must.They have nasty algae blooms most of the year. You will need it for tea and coffee as well as cooking in general.

I don’t know about the disinfection, but I’m guessing it’s chloramine. !/4 campden tablet for five gallons.

Welcome to Big D.

I knew I'd have someone out there with the answer. I owe you a beer.

@Wynne-R
For a more up to date report for Richardson (monthly), check the Wylie report here:
http://www.ntmwd.com/water_quality.html

@IslandBoy85 - this may not be much help to you as Addison doesn't get its water from the NTMWD.
