Default Another Water Analysis

OK well I wasn't going to clutter the forums with yet another "what do you think of my water" posts, but this thread left me thinking that I should submit my data to the brightest lights (i.e. Martin and AJ) of the Science forum.

So here's my results from Ward Labs. My water is from East Bay MUD, and the source is Sierra Nevada snowmelt. The water was sampled in early February so it should be from pretty full reservoirs.

Code:
pH 8.3
TDS 46
Conductivity 0.08
Cat/An 0.4/0.5

Na 5
K <1
Ca 2
Mg 1
Total Hardness CaCO3 9
Nitrate NO3-N 0.2
Cl 4
CO3 3
HCO3 12
Total Alkalinity CaCO3 15
Obviously, very soft and very low alkalinity. I've started to add calcium chloride and/or gypsum to the mash water to provide some calcium.

For comparison, here is the data from the 2010 EBMud water report

Code:
Na 5.1 - 10
K 0.5 - 0.9
Mg 0.7 - 2.3
Hardness CaCO3 14 - 30
Nitrate Not reported
Cl 5 - 6
Alkalinity, Bicarbonate as CaCO3 22-29
Alcalinity, Carbonate as CaCO3 3.3 - 4.1
Any thoughts?

This water can be considered as RO water if you want to follow the Primer or you can punch the numbers into one of the spreadsheets if you wish to follow that approach.
