Default 3 gallon carboy, glass or pet

All,
I want to get a few 3 gallon carboys so I can split my 5 gallon wild batchs and add fruit to them. Should I go with glass or pet. The pet have larger openings to make adding fruit easier, but glass I could clean easier and use for non wilds. I am leaning toward pet because of the opening size. Any thoughts?

Better bottles work great, plus no horror stories of severed arteries when you drop one.

I say pet all the way

Also, its not hard to clean a better bottle. Just soak in oxyclean (or equiv).

I know it is not hard to clean, brett/bugs can hide in scratches easier on Pet.

I think I will go PET.

My point is if you soak in cleaner it shouldn't get scratched
