Grains: 4# maris otter 3# munich 20L 1.5# biscuit 1# cara-pils dextrin 12 oz pale chocolate 12 oz crystal/caramel 120L 8 oz black patent 6 oz chocolate or chocolate rye to your taste 75 minute boil Hops: .75 oz fuggles @ 60 .75 oz EK goldings @ 60 .25 oz fuggles @ 20 .25 oz EK goldings @ 20 Wyeast American Ale Yeast or British Ale Yeast to your taste Mash schedule - single infusion Mash at 158 for full body for 45 minutes Mash out at 170 When I say to your taste I mean whichever you prefer. I like the chocolate rye and british ale yeast, but if you prefer regular chocolate or the american ale yeast I have used those before as well and the result is just as good tasting. Happy brewing! |
