Aroma is of dark roasted grains balanced with piney resinous hops.

Pours dark brown with a brownish white, thick head Lacing clings to the side in a random pattern.
| Flavor: |
Dark roasted grains, piney hops. A typical IPA flavor blended with a hint of stout. Delicious sweetness and tingling bitterness compete in the mouth for domination. Bitterness wins.
| Mouthfeel: |
Hop bitterness numbs the roof of the mouth, Thick and tingling.
| General Impression: |
Damn good. I decided to put this beer in the specialty category, because even though it's called an IPA there is nothing pale about it. All of the IPA characteristics with the addition of some roasted grains makes this beer unique. For some this beer might benefit from aging as the hops tend to dominate right now.
Oh yeah. I'm giving it a solid A. I like it.
