Default Yeast substitute?

Can I use WLP001 instead of Wyeast American Ale 1056 for a SNPA clone...Thanks

Yes the strains are very similar to each other. US-05 is the dried version of 1056 if you are looking to go with a dry yeast.

Thanks...I have the US-05 ...but I have 10 jars of WLP001 from recent harvest...I would like to use them...

In a side by side comparision I doubt most people could tell the difference between WLP001 and 1056.
