Okay im going to go ahead and make a starter for my yeast, because I smacked the Wyeast pack and its been a couple hours and no swelling. Pretty sure the three days the yeast spent in the UPS warehouse this weekend killed it, but I want to make a starter just to make sure. How long can a starter be stored before it needs to be used. For example (my situation), im making the starter tonight and I will most likely be brewing on Sunday, cool?
