Does anyone know what yeast is used in Flying Dog Brewery's "kerberos Tripel"??. wanting to kinda clone it and looking for a good mild yeast.

You should try emailing the brewery. With Belgian yeast the fermentation temperature and aeration rates also play a big roll in yeast character.

I really like Wyeast 3787 or White Labs 530 (the Westmalle strain) in my tripels. Using a couple different strains is another interesting way to go.

Not sure about that one, but I know their In Heat Wheat uses a strain that only they have (or that's what they claim on their website).

I'm looking for a good clean not to spicy yeast, want it to sneak up on my friends. like a ninja beer, they think their drinking a light beer then BAM they are floored by it, lol.
