Default Yeast for a Goose Island Mild Winter Clone

I'm debating on whether to go with something neutral like US05 or something English like Wy1968. Anybody have any opinions?

I'm going to take this off topic, cause well hey ... it's my thread.

I went ahead and pitched US05 because I didn't have time for a starter. Well I'm glad I did because I picked up a 6 pack of the "real deal" and I don't taste any English strain fruityness - pretty clean. But here's the strange thing ... It's been a year since I tasted this last, but I swear it is lots smokier and less rye spice than I remember. Well I'm looking at the bottle and I was surprised to see that it's now brewed somewhere in New York. I assume that's b/c of the AB takeover. But it got me wondering, even if they didn't change the grain bill, surely the water had to change. Would they go through that much trouble to try to get the water to match?
