Default WLP and WY similarities

Hey everyone, I know that Wyeast and WHite labs sometimes have the same strain of yeast.

I am wondering if...

>>"White Labs WY320 American Hefeweizen"

-and-

>>"Wyeast 1010 American Wheat"

are the same yeast?

Iif not, is the "white labs 320 American Hefe" the correct substitute if I can not get the "Wyeast 1010 American Wheat"?

thanks

320 and 1010 do not look to be the same.

That would be the appropriate substitution.

According to this they are not the same, but if you are making an American style Hefe, either one would work just fine.
