What is the final verdict on oats? Add them directly to mash or cook them first?
Personally I grind them fine and boil them for an hour and add this to my mash at dough in. I just bought a few big cans of quick oats and I am really wishing to just dump one of them in my next oatmeal stout with no cereal mash!
dump it right into the mash from the can. done it many times
