Due to editing and constant changing/updating recipe I'm posting the link instead of the recipe itself, I've got plenty of time to update it since my lager fridge is in use right now so all advice will be considered

I think 2 lbs Carafoam is too much. That's just dextrin malt I think, so maybe 1/2 pound is more usual.

Thank you, isn't it mostly for head retention?

Yes, it is for head retention and is similar to Carapils. I went to the Weyermann website to confirm how much they say to use, and didn't see it listed. So I'm not positive on recommended amounts.

I don't think there's supposed to be any crystal in a vienne lager. Especially 120.

I'd lower the carafoam a bit (.5-.75 #) and add a couple ounces of dehusked carafa for color.

I'm shooting kinda light because the double decoction will add a little more color that typical mash, but ill deffinately lower carafoam

How does this recipe look?
It looks good but it's not a Vienna. More of a cross between a Festbier and a bock I'd say. That brew is too dark for a Vienna, all you need is Vienna malt. Save the Munich, especially the dark Munich, for a fest or bock. 100% Vienna malt makes a delicious Vienna lager and a touch of CaraFoam is fine.

I gotta disagree. I've done a ton of competition brewing and judges are always looking for something a bit darker than what you'd get with vienna malt alone. 100% vienna puts you in the 7.5 SRM range.... judges are looking for beers in the 12-14 SRM range. My latest vienna (2nd BOS in the last competition it was in) was a blend of vienna, munich, and pilsner placing it at 10.73 SRM. The only detracting comment I got on it from judges was that it was too light.
