Very Simple Extract Recipe for Farmhouse RyePA
So my local store got a bunch of mosaic in, and I decided I'd like to try it out. At the same time, I'd been wanting to do a farm house ale and try out some rye LME, so I threw together a very simple but a bit odd recipe.
9.9lb Breiss Rye LME
60 1oz Mosaic
30 1oz Mosaic
15 1oz Mosaic
5 1oz Mosaic
WLP 670 American Farmhouse Blend
Let ferment in primary for three weeks to get some hints of brett character
Dry hop with 1oz mosaic in secondary for 2-5 days
Thoughts? Meant to just play around with new additions to the shop.
Primary: Lemon Cream Ale, Rye Cali Common, Rye/Wheat Wild Pale Ale, Sour Stout, Farmhouse Spiced Cyser, Wild Melomel with Ghost Pepper / Mango / Peach, Wild Oatmeal Stout Collab with Oliver Ales
Secondary: Flanders Red, Neo-Kriek
Bottled: Of Note: Imperial Chili Stout, Single Hop Mosaic Wild IPA, Single Hop Galaxy Wild IPA, and Wild Cali Common with Ghost Pepper / Mango / Peach
Kegged: Smoked Red with Juniper, Spiced Brown Ale (Autumn Warmer)
